NBC Messes With a Favorite

Hasn’t NBC heard the expression of if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it?

First, NBC announced that Keith Olbermann was joining one of my favorite shows from last season, “Football Night In America,” which means less camera time for my man, Cris Collinsworth. Then, the show’s new producer told “TV Guide” the show “will be much less structured than last year” and the structure was what I loved most.

Now, NBC has announced that Faith Hill will sing “Waiting All Day for Sunday Night,” the opening theme to “Sunday Night Football.”

And what was wrong with Pink? Doesn’t NBC remember the backlash ABC got when it replaced Hank Williams, Jr.?

NBC is quickly getting on my nerves…
