You just knew that when “Scott Baio is 45…and Single” wrapped up last week that it couldn’t be the end. And thankfully, it won’t be…

VH1 has announced a second season of the show. Only this time, Scott will be engaged and about to become a father.

If you missed it, “Baio” ended with Scott telling his girlfriend, Renee, that he was ready to get married. She, in turn, surprised him by telling him she was pregnant.

The finale also lent a little more credence to the theory that a lot of the show was set up—especially since Scott’s ex, Julie, who seemed to hate him so much turned out to be a friend of Renee.

And am I the only one that finds it hard to believe that with all the women Scott had been with, Renee is the only one he ever got pregnant? Could it be that he knew about the pregnancy all along and just went through the motions for the show?

Even if that’s the case, it doesn’t matter to me because I’ll still be watching. Those fatherhood classes should be a hoot…

And the fact that a major womanizer is having a girl? Priceless…
