NBC: Picks Up Four, Lets Go of Three
“The Hollywood Reporter” reported that NBC has picked up four more comedies today:
“Are You There Vodka, It’s Me Chelsea?” is based on the life and best-selling autobiography of Chelsea Handler. Laura Prepon (“That 70s Show”) plays the title role.
“Free Agents,” starring Hank Azaria, is about two co-workers who fall in love.
“Bent” stars Amanda Peet as a recently divorced mom.
“BFFs” is about a newly divorced woman who moves in with her best friend and her husband.
According to the report, NBC cancelled “Outsourced,” “Law & Order: Los Angeles” and “The Event.”
As I shared earlier, “Chuck” has been renewed for a 13-episode season, but “Reporter” is reporting it will be the show’s last.
