Report: NBC Picks Up Four, But Not "Wonder Woman"

“The Hollywood Reporter” is reporting that NBC has picked up four pilots…

The comedy pickups are “Whitney” starring Whitney Cummings and The Untitled Emily Spivey Project starring Will Arnett, Christina Applegate and Maya Rudolph.

The drama pickups are the Steven Spielberg-produced “Glee”-like “Smash,” starring Debra Messing, and “Prime Suspect” starring Maria Bello in the Helen Mirren role.

Notice the absence of “Wonder Woman” on the list. “Reporter” reports it is not likely to get picked up. And on behalf of comic book geeks everywhere, let me just say, PHEW…
