The Kentucky Derby: Where Was Tom Durkin?
For those of you who missed hearing Tom Durkin call the Kentucky Derby on NBC Saturday, “The New York Times” has the scoop on why he wasn’t there.
Durkin decided that calling the Triple Crown races had just become too stressful. According to the story, he had been suffering from performance anxiety and had even worked with a hypnotist before last year’s Derby.
