"The Apprentice" Returns With...Rosie?
Are you ready for this?
Not only is “The Apprentice” returning to NBC for 13 episodes mid-season, it’s returning with a celebrity edition.
NBC co-chair Ben Silverman said Donald Trump “immediately embraced” the idea, but Silverman had to convince producer Mark Burnett, who has always been reluctant to do celebrity editions of his shows.
So who will participate? One of the first calls Silverman made was to the staff of “The Office,” which he produces. He said the idea of actors who play office workers on TV competing with business tasks in real life “had its appeal.”
Also on Silverman’s want list? You guessed it. Rosie O’Donnell. Silverman’s co-chair Marc Graboff confirmed that NBC has talked to Rosie about “a number of ideas.”
If Silverman gets Rosie, I might even have to watch it. I also think Kathy Griffin would be a good choice too…
