Stay Tuned for LOTS of Stuff...

This past weekend began the Television Critics Association Press Tour. This is the time when the networks trot out the stars and executives of their shows, usually in panel discussions, for the critics.

Most of the cable networks had their panels over the weekend. NBC will be up today and tomorrow. CBS is lined up for July 18th and 19th, with the CW on July 20th. FOX takes the stage July 22nd and 23rd and ABC wraps it up on July 25th and 26th.

Here are some of the hot topics the networks will no doubt have to face:

NBC has signed Isaiah Washington. More on that later...

CBS execs will have to deal with the Mandy Patinkin situation and it will be interesting how the network will present "Viva Laughlin" since the commercials are not showing the musical aspect of it at all. And there will no doubt be questions about the return of "Jericho"...

The CW will probably still have to deal with questions about "Veronica Mars"...

The FOX brass will have to deal with a ton of questions about "24"--especially if the show gets an Emmy nod...

And I hope someone gives ABC a really hard time about "Cavemen"...
