A Legendary Tonys

I have never seen more than a couple of seconds of a Tony Awards telecast in my life, so I usually leave that up to my pal Chuck and his Tri-State Theater blog.

But not this year. Because this year’s awards are going to be legen—wait for it—dary!

That’s right. Neil Patrick Harris is hosting the Tonys, so you know that I’ll be watching every single awesome second.

And it’s guaranteed to be “Nothin’ But a Good Time” since Poison will be performing along with the cast of the Tony-nominated “Rock of Ages.”

Wow. Poison and the Tonys. There are two things I never thought I’d write in the same post…

Dolly Parton will also be taking the stage with the cast of “9 to 5” and Elton John will perform with the cast of “Billy Elliot.”

The Tonys will air Sunday, June 7th at 8 p.m. on CBS. And once again, Chuck will be live-blogging the event on his blog.

And I would Stay Tuned to this blog if I were you, kids, because later this week you may just see some words from the great NPH himself…
