Mourning the Loss of “Watch What Happens”

I admit it. I have a problem with change. I guess you could say I’m pretty set in my ways. So when I got an e-mail from Bravo telling me they’re changing their tagline, it made me a little sad…

Now you guys know I love Bravo, but I really can’t get behind this one. “Watch what happens” is creative. It’s memorable. And it’s fun to watch the Bravo stars say it.

The new tagline? “By Bravo.” That’s it. “By Bravo.”

According to the press release: “The new ‘By Bravo’ tagline enables the network to own and curate different categories, including ‘Food by Bravo’ for ‘Top Chef,’ ‘Competition by Bravo’ for ‘The Fashion Show,’ ‘Drama by Bravo’ for ‘The Real Housewives’ franchise, and even ‘Funny by Bravo’ for ‘Kathy Griffin: My Life on the D-List.’
