November sweeps kicks into overdrive this week, so you’ll need to mark your calendars…
Monday, November 5th
“Prison Break”—FOX presents a two-hour episode (8 p.m.)
“Rules of Engagement”—Heather Locklear guests (9:30 p.m., CBS)
“Dancing With the Stars”—The show expands an extra 15 minutes, so set your VCRs accordingly. That pushes “Samantha Who?” to 9:45 p.m. and “The Bachelor” to 10:07 p.m.
Tuesday, November 6th
“The Biggest Loser”—NBC pulled “The Singing Bee” from its November schedule, so “Loser” will fill in the gap by expanding to two hours (8 p.m.)
“Lincoln Heights”—Season Finale (8 p.m., ABC Family)
“Carpoolers”—Rebecca Romijn, Jerry O’Connell’s wife, guests as the ex-wife of Laird, played by Jerry O’Connell (8:30 p.m., ABC).
“House”—Michael Michele guests (9 p.m., FOX)
“Cane”—Alicia Keys guests and performs “No One” (10 p.m., CBS).
“The Real Housewives of Orange County”—Season Premiere (10 p.m., Bravo)
Wednesday, November 7th
The CMA Awards (8 p.m., ABC)
Thursday, November 8th
“Ugly Betty”—Nothing like a wedding to spice up sweeps as Wilhelmina attempts to marry Bradford with maid of honor Victoria Beckham (8 p.m., ABC).
“Are You Smarter Than a Fifth Grader?”—Skateboarder Tony Hawk competes (8 p.m., FOX).
“30 Rock”—Since the real NBC is celebrating Green Week this week, the fictional one is as well by hiring a new mascot played by David Schwimmer. Al Gore also makes an appearance (8:30 p.m., NBC).
“CSI” and “Without a Trace”—Neither of these shows needs a ratings boost, but they’ll no doubt get one with this crossover between the two in which the mystery begins on “CSI” and concludes on “Trace” (9 & 10 p.m., CBS).
“Scrubs”—Tom Cavanagh returns as J.D.’s brother (9:31 p.m., NBC)
Friday, November 9th
“Deal or No Deal”—Kermit the Frog guests as part of NBC Green Week (8 p.m., NBC).
“Ghost Whisperer”—Orlando Jones guests as a self-proclaimed psychic (8 p.m., CBS).
Saturday, November 10th
“How the Grinch Stole Christmas”—Start the season early with this classic, followed by “The Wizard of Oz” (7:30 p.m., TBS).
“M*A*S*H Mail Call”—TV Land gives fans a marathon of nine episodes featuring letters from home (9 p.m.)
“Mad TV” has Joey Fatone (11 p.m., FOX) while “Saturday Night Live” has Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and Amy Winehouse (11:29 p.m.)—pending the writers’ strike.
Sunday, November 11th
“Family Guy”—In the conclusion to last week’s episode, Stewie ends up auditioning for “American Idol.” Paula, Randy and Simon guest (9 p.m., FOX).
“Curb Your Enthusiasm”—Season Finale (10 p.m., HBO)
