FOX Shuffles Its Fall Schedule
I told you not to put FOX’s January schedule in pen because it would probably change.
But now FOX has changed its fall schedule…
The vampire drama, “New Amsterdam,” has been bumped to midseason. It will be replaced Tuesday at 8 p.m. by “Bones.” “Kitchen Nightmares” will replace “Bones” Wednesday at 9 p.m.
So why the changes? Wednesday had become a drama-heavy timeslot for the networks, so FOX decided to try a reality alternative. It’s actually great news for “Bones” fans because the movie will be a huge help to the show.
Unable to ignore the success of the summer hit, “Don’t Forget the Lyrics,” FOX has positioned it on Thursdays after “Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader?” “Smarter” will air Thursdays and Fridays for the month of September (Can you say overkill?) until “The Next Great American Band” premieres October 19th.
The reality series, “Anchorwoman” will now premiere August 22nd.
