May Sweeps--A Jumbled Monday and Tuesday
Let me just say it from the beginning. Monday’s schedule is all screwed up due to the President’s address. Let me tell you what I know…
FOX is delaying everything 20 minutes. That means the season finale of “Prison Break” will air at 8:20 p.m. followed by the second-to-last episode of “24” at 9:20 p.m….ABC has postponed “Oprah Winfrey’s Legends Ball” to next Monday to make room for the Presidential address. The two-hour season finale of “Grey’s Anatomy” will air at 9 p.m…NBC will join its two-hour “Deal or No Deal” at 8:25 p.m. followed by “The Apprentice” at 10 p.m…As of this writing, CBS had not made a decision, but I would look for them to preempt “The King of Queens.” If CBS airs their schedule as usual, you will get the season finale of “How I Met Your Mother” at 8:30 p.m. and a whopper of a “CSI:Miami” at 10.
Tuesday is a little more settled. At 8 p.m., NBC gets us ready for the “Will & Grace” finale with two of its best episodes guest-starring Matt Damon and Kevin Bacon (who returns for the finale Thursday). Then, it’s the “Scrubs” season finale at 9 p.m. and the “Law & Order: SVU” finale at 10 p.m…A team member leaves “NCIS” at 8 p.m. on CBS, followed by the two-hour season finale of “The Unit.”...ABC shows us the humble beginnings of some of our favorite stars in “Celebrity Debut” at 8 p.m., followed by the two-hour season finale of “Boston Legal” featuring the return of Michael J. Fox.
Coming up Wednesday and Thursday, a trio of reality shows declare winners and one show changes forever…
