Encore Gets Original
Premium channel Encore is jumping on the original programming train…
It will start with “Moby Dick,” a three-hour mini-series based on the classic novel. William Hurt stars as Captain Ahab. Ethan Hawke, Gillian Anderson and Donald Sutherland are also part of the cast.
“Moby Dick” will air Monday, August 1st and Tuesday, August 2nd at 8 p.m.
Airing this fall on the channel will be “The Take,” a four-part mini-series based on the novel by Martina Cole, and the documentary “Method to the Madness of Jerry Lewis”…
