DC Sets the Date for "Batman: Year One"

Warner Home Video and DC Entertainment has set the release date for the next DC Universe Animated Original Movie…

“Batman: Year One” will be released October 18th. The movie is based on Frank Miller’s 1987 retelling of Bruce Wayne’s first days as Batman.

Ben McKenzie voices Bruce/Batman and Bryan Cranston plays Lieutenant James Gordon. Sci-fi queens Eliza Dushku and Katee Sackhoff play Selina Kyle and Sarah Essen.

Dushku also plays Selina/Catwoman in a DC Showcase short on the DVD.

I know I’ve been fairly critical of recent DC Universe efforts, but I am super psyched for this one…
