Matthew Perry Returns to TV

ABC continued giving me good news this week as it has picked up Matthew Perry’s new sitcom. “Mr. Sunshine.”

He’ll star as a sports manager. The network also picked up the comedies “Better Together” and “Happy Endings” starring Elisha Cuthbert.

In the drama department, ABC picked up the Jerry Bruckeimer legal procedural, “The Whole Truth;” the ensemble documentary-style dramedy, “My Generation;” the cop dramedy, “Detroit 187,” starring Michael Imperioli; and the superhero drama “No Ordinary Family” starring Michael Chiklis.

Now let’s pair up Matthew Perry’s show with Courteney Cox’s show, shall we? That would rock…
