NBC and Conan Are In Business Together Again

Because Hollywood is really a very small world, NBC and Conan O’Brien are back in business together…

NBC announced today that it has picked up “Outlaw” a new legal drama starring Jimmy Smits. The show comes from Conan’s production company, Conaco. Conan and his longtime producer Jeff Ross serve as executive producers.

NBC also announced pick-ups for “The Cape,” a drama about a cop framed for murder; David E. Kelly’s new legal drama “Harry’s Law” starring Kathy Bates; and “Friends with Benefits,” a comedy about twenty-something singles.

Today’s pick-ups join the previously announced “Perfect Couples,” “Law & Order: Los Angeles,” “Chase,” “Undercovers,” “The Event,” “Love Bites” and “Outsourced.”
