It's Official. Time Has Run Out for "24"

It’s official. This will be the final day for “24”…at least on TV…

“Variety” just reported the news after longtime director and former producer Jon Cassar tweeted the news on his Twitter page. FOX had planned to make an official announcement Monday.

The report says that FOX held off the announcement to allow the producers, writers and star/Executive Producer Kiefer Sutherland time to decide if they wanted to do another season. They ultimately decided this season should be the last.

The good news is this puts an end to those crazy NBC rumors.
