The "Revolution" Ratings Are In And...
The ratings are in and they are…not good.
The headline in “The Hollywood Reporter” actually read “Jamie Oliver Fizzles.”
Last night’s special preview of “Jamie Oliver’s Food Revolution” only garnered 6.2 million viewers, and a 2.2 rating in the all important 18-49 demo according to the “Reporter.”
In comparison, its lead-in “Desperate Housewives,” had 10.8 million viewers and a 3.5 in the demo.
“Revolution” did have stiff competition last night as an NCAA overrun had it going head-to-head with CBS’ reality hit, “Undercover Boss,” which had 13.6 million viewers (4.0 in the demo). Because the two shows appeal to the same audience, that no doubt had a big impact. However, ABC can’t be too happy that “Revolution” was the lowest-rated show of the entire night.
It will be interesting to see what it does on Friday…
