Anthony Edwards’ Generous “ER” Return

You’ve probably heard that Anthony Edwards is returning to “ER” in a special sweeps episode that will also feature my man Paul McCrane (Dr. Romano).

But here’s something you probably haven’t heard. Edwards is donating his salary for the episode ($125,000) to his fundraising campaign to build the largest hospital in Africa.

When Steven Spielberg (whose Amblin Entertainment co-produces the show) heard about Edwards’ gift, he gave $125,000 and John Wells (the executive producer) gave $50,000.
