Please tell me this is some kind of joke…

On the heels of ABC’s announcement that they are shelving “The Knights of Prosperity” comes word that ABC has greenlighted a pilot starring the Geico caveman. The show, now being called “Cavemen,” would focus on three cavemen dealing with the humiliation of Geico’s tagline: “So easy a caveman can do it.”

Are you kidding me? You scrap the funniest show on TV since “Arrested Development” and consider replacing it with this?!

Granted, a pilot is no guarantee that the show will be produced, but it still hurts.

Sometimes you have to wonder what goes through the heads of network executives…
