"Grey's Anatomy": More Drama Behind-the-Scenes?
Since “Grey’s Anatomy” was a rerun again tonight, let me give you the latest news on the action behind-the-scenes…
Tim Daly has signed on to be a part of the spin-off featuring Addison. The wonderful Paul Adelstein, who is currently playing Kellerman on “Prison Break,” is also scheduled to appear in the two-hour “Grey’s” episode that will serve as the show’s pilot.
I love Tim Daly, but as big of a show killer as he’s been lately (“The Fugitive,” “Eyes,” “The Nine”), I’m not sure that’s good news for the spin-off’s prospects…
Which is bad news for Kate Walsh, because I’m betting by this point she really wants away from “Grey’s.” Rumor has it that some members of the cast have been giving Walsh the cold shoulder since the spin-off was announced. Apparently a few of them feel that their characters should have been considered. Those same rumors say that Ellen Pompeo (Meredith) was most upset because no one told her about the spin-off before the announcement. She reportedly felt that as “the star,” she deserved to be consulted.
Could these people just get a grip already?
