Two Broadcasting Icons Unite
Next weekend, two icons of sports broadcasting will unite in the booth for the first time…
According to “The Sporting News,” Al Michaels and Bob Costas will announce the July 8th contest between the New York Mets and San Francisco Giants on the MLB Network.
Costas is the regular play-by-play man for the networks, but Michaels has not done MLB play-by-play since 1995. They have never announced a MLB game together.
The story does not mention who will take the lead on the broadcast…
