CBS has announced that Martina McBride will step in to replace an ailing Lionel Richie on the “Boston Pops Fireworks Spectacular.”
Richie has strained vocal cords and is unable to perform. Michael Chiklis, a Boston native, is hosting the special live from the Charles River Esplanade in Boston.
Anybody want to bet she sings “Independence Day”?
The special airs Monday, July 4th at 10 p.m. on CBS…
