Who Is In Line to Replace Regis?

According to “The Hollywood Reporter,” the search for Regis Philbin’s replacement on “Live With Regis & Kelly” has been narrowed down to three candidates. And if they are correct, then it’s pretty obvious who Regis’ replacement will be…

The report says the three are Ryan Seacrest, Andy Cohen and Mark Consuelos.

Since Ryan Seacrest still has his multi-million dollar radio deal and everything else under the sun, I can’t see any way he would do it. Andy Cohen is an executive at Bravo, not just a host, so I can’t see him doing it and I can’t see Bravo letting him go.

That leaves Mark Consuelos, aka Mr. Kelly Ripa. Since the audience already knows him and the two have worked together several times in the past, he seems to be the logical choice.

Personally, I think the combo would be a tad on the annoying side, but then I haven’t watched “Live” in years.
