Deadline.com is reporting that Paget Brewster will be returning to the show next season. To make room for her, Rachel Nichols will exit.

Meanwhile, negotiations are going down to the wire for series star Thomas Gibson.

According to the Deadline story, Brewster left to make a pilot. I’m surprised to see her return after what I perceived were hard feelings from her upon being let go from the show. Maybe there was more to that than met the eye…
