"The X Factor" Judging Drama Concludes

And here I thought any drama coming out of “The X Factor” auditions would be about Simon and Paula…

The drama surrounding Cheryl Cole’s exit as a judge from the show is now reportedly over as Cole has been officially replaced by Nicole Scherzinger. However, Cole will receive her promised salary.

According to “The Hollywood Reporter,” the decision was made to replace Cole after she showed no chemistry with Paula Abdul. But there have been several reports that her thick accent was also a reason.

There have also been lots of reports that Simon Cowell had hoped to return Cole to the British version, but salary issues and her disappointment at how the American situation was handled prevented that from happening.

I personally thought Cole was a bad choice to begin with since no one knew her, but I was willing to give Simon the benefit of the doubt…

No word on how the show will deal with the auditions with Cole that were already filmed...
