A Look at This Year's New Year's Marathons

New Year’s Day weekend means marathons. Here’s just a few that you’ll be able to enjoy this weekend…

USA is presenting two marathons this year. On New Year’s Eve, it’s the “Fun House Marathon” with episodes of “House” airing from 6 a.m. to 6 a.m. There will be an hour interruption at 9 a.m. with the Holiday Bowl Parade. On New Year’s Day, it’s the “Resolve to Watch Marathon” with “NCIS” airing from 6 a.m. to 4 a.m. There will be an hour interruption at 2 a.m. for the WWE…

Syfy will present two days of “The Twilight Zone” beginning New Year’s Eve at 8 a.m. and ending at 6 a.m. January 2nd…

ABC Family has a marathon of “America’s Funniest Home Videos” New Year’s Day from 7 a.m.-1 a.m…

TV Land will marathon six of the best “Hot In Cleveland” episodes of the season beginning with the pilot at 8 p.m. New Year’s Day. The episodes will be followed by the hour-long special, “Behind the Hotness,” at 11 p.m…

But for me, the most interesting marathons are on CMT. New Year’s Eve, it’s “The Dukes of Hazzard” from 1:30 p.m.-3 am. Then New Year’s Day, it’s select episodes from seasons one and two of “Dallas” from 2 p.m. to 3 a.m. Then, Sunday, January 2nd, it’s a marathon of “Green Acres” from 2 p.m. to Midnight…
