"A Christmas Story": A Moneymaking Machine

This year I watched “A Christmas Story” for the very first time…

It’s not going to replace “National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation” or the remake of “Miracle on 34th Street” in my Christmas movie pantheon, but I did think it was really cute.

Here’s a great article from “Variety” about the moneymaking machine that the movie has become. It’s incredible to think that a guy not at all associated with the movie has turned it into a career.
