Behind the Theme of "Lie to Me"...

Tonight, FOX’s “Lie to Me” returns after a one-week hiatus…

I point this out because I wanted to call attention to the show’s opening theme song. It’s called “Brand New Day” and it’s by Ryan Star, who is currently opening for the reigning American Idol David Cook on his “Declaration Tour.”

Last week, I had a chance to ask Ryan about doing the theme song and the show.

“It’s very cool. Tim Roth is a bada--. It’s a very smart show,” he told me. “It’s going to break up married couples, though,” he joked.

“It’s pretty bada—to have the theme song. I work hard to try to get music together.”
