This Week's TV on DVD: It's Getting VERY Expensive
If you’re a big fan of TV shows on DVD, September is going to be VERY expensive for you…
When TV shows first started coming out on DVD, it was only classic shows. It took current shows a couple of seasons before they started cranking them out. Then the geniuses at FOX decided to take a chance and release season one of a show before the second season came out, allowing viewers to catch up. That show was, of course, “24” and the rest, as they say, is history as that kind of release schedule has become the norm.
And that makes September VERY busy…
The marquee releases today are the third seasons of “Desperate Housewives” and “The Office” but there are plenty more to choose from. Also hitting stores today are:
“30 Rock” Season 1 (also available in two different volumes)
“The Black Donnellys” Complete Series
“Bosom Buddies” Season 2
“It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia” Seasons 1 & 2
“Nip/Tuck” Season 4
“Prison Break” Season 2
“The Real Housewives of Orange County” Season 1
“Robot Chicken” Season 2
“Rules of Engagement” Season 1
“She-Ra: Princess of Power” Season 2
“Spongebob Square Pants” Season 5: Volume 1
But don’t spend all of your money this week because there’s much more to come, including a certain hospital show I know a lot of you are crazy about…
