Last year’s Pussycat Dolls winner, Asia, has opted to pursue a solo career. When a reporter pointed out that the winner going solo made the show kind of pointless, CW President Dawn Ostroff replied, “There’s no guarantee for how this will turn out. The participants get exposure. At the end of the day, you can’t make anybody do anything, but you can give them the opportunity.” Maybe the Pussycat people should talk to the “American Idol” people about how to draw up an ironclad contract…
