Drew Carey gets closer to coming on down...

Drew Carey confirmed last week that he is in negotiations to take over “The Price Is Right.”

“It would be really fun to do,” he told critics during “The Power of 10” panel. “That show needs to be treated with a lot of respect.”

Carey added that “nothing’s been decided yet” and that negotiations are “going back and forth.”

Carey said that after “The Drew Carey Show” ended, he didn’t want to work in TV again and he only agreed to do “Power” if he could have a schedule that would allow him to attend L.A. Galaxy games.

When asked if he could handle taking on “Price,” he replied, “I wouldn’t have gone into negotiations with them if I didn’t think I’d be able to enjoy it and be good at it”…
