Oxygen Has the Cure for "Glee" Withdrawal

Gleeks who are suffering withdrawal over the summer will have a new show to tide them over until “Glee” returns in the fall.

“The Glee Project” will premiere on Oxygen this weekend. The show features 12 contestants vying for a seven-episode guest-starring role on “Glee.”

The 10-week series is from Ryan Murphy, the co-creator of “Glee” and will feature appearances by Murphy and “Glee” cast members. The premiere features an appearance by Darren Criss.

“The Glee Project” will premiere Sunday, June 12 at 9 p.m. on Oxygen. A one-hour casting special, “The Glee Project: The Final 12” will air at 8 p.m.
