Report: The CW Picks Up Three Dramas

“The Hollywood Reporter” is reporting that The CW has ordered three new dramas with three familiar female leads…

“The Secret Circle,” from Kevin Williamson (“The Vampire Diaries”) stars Britt Robertson (“Life Unexpected”) as a woman who discovers she’s a witch and also the key to unlocking a battle of good vs. evil.

“Hart of Dixie” stars Rachel Bilson (“The O.C.”) as a young New York doctor who inherits a practice in a quirky Southern town. The show comes from Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage who worked with Bilson on “The O.C.”

“Ringer” stars Sarah Michelle Gellar as a woman on the run from the mob who hides out by inhabiting the life of her twin sister—until she finds out she is in trouble as well.
