ABC Sets the Date for Matthew Perry's Return to TV

ABC has announced the date for Matthew Perry’s return to series television…

His new comedy, “Mr. Sunshine” will premiere Wednesday, February 9th at 9:30 p.m. for a nine-week run, filling in for “Cougar Town.”

I am thrilled that Perry is coming back to TV, but couldn’t ABC have thrown us “Friends” fans a bone and put “Cougar” and “Sunshine” back to back?

Another new ABC comedy, “Happy Endings” starring Elisha Cuthbert, will premiere Wednesday, April 13th at 10 p.m., followed by fan favorite episodes of “Modern Family,” giving ABC a three-comedy block on Wednesdays, like NBC will have on Thursdays.
