My Thoughts on the CBS Schedule...

I don’t usually question the decisions of CBS, but my very first look at their schedule produced a few for me…

I understand that they want to give the “NCIS” spin-off a good lead-in, but to put it right after the original? I think that’s a big mistake.

I also question moving “The Mentalist” to Thursdays at 10. I know that’s been a weak spot for CBS and they’re smelling blood with Jay Leno in that spot, but I think they should’ve used it to help launch a new show instead of putting it in that spot. I think it has a good shot of winning its time period, though, and I’m sure that’s what CBS was thinking as well.

I applaud CBS rescuing “Medium,” but I wonder if putting it on Fridays after “Ghost Whisperer” doesn’t give us an overdose on women who see things. However, I think the block will score well with women.

And I totally understand why they would move “The Big Bang Theory” behind “Two and a Half Men” on Monday, I just hate it because it totally messes up my viewing schedule.

As for new shows, CBS dramas have never really been my thing, but “The Good Wife” has a killer cast—including Chris Noth—so I will definitely check it out.

What do you guys think? Are you excited about anything on CBS’ schedule? Or are you just sad that “Without a Trace” and “The Unit” aren’t on it?
