"How I Met Your Mother" Season Finale: A-Ha!
Okay, so it’s very late and ABC is making its schedule presentation very early tomorrow morning—or should I say later this morning. But I couldn’t go to bed until I saw “How I Met Your Mother”…
Warning: If you haven’t seen the season finale of “How I Met Your Mother” stop reading now…
Yes, I got what I wanted. Barney told Robin he loved her and she told him she felt the same. But this being something involving Barney, it couldn’t just be straightforward. The two tried to out-Moseby (declaring feelings to scare the other one off) each other until they finally just ended up kissing. It wasn’t what I would call classic romance, but for these two, it worked.
But with “Mother,” you have to take the good with the bad and in this case, the bad was the running joke about the goat. We finally saw the full story of the goat tonight, and quite frankly, I didn’t think it was anywhere near the wait.
And speaking of waiting, we’re still waiting to learn the identity of the mother. But we did get an important clue. She was in Ted’s first class as an architecture professor. You may remember that it was Stella’s boyfriend, Tony, who helped get him the job—thus explaining why running into Stella helped him meet the mother.
All together now. A-HAAAAAAH!
So, maybe next season we’ll get a few more clues. But honestly, isn’t the only thing we care about next season that Barney and Robin are together?
