“HSM 3”: Does Ryan Get the Girl?

Remember how I said I hoped my favorite “High School Musical” character, Ryan (Lucas Grabeel) would have a prom date in “HSM 3: Senior Year”?

I’m thinking I might get my wish…

Last week, I got a toy catalog with the new “HSM 3” graduation dolls. There were dolls of Troy, Gabriella, Chad, Taylor, Sharpay and Ryan (in a kilt?). But there was also a doll of a girl I didn’t recognize. A quick check of the Internet told me it was Kelsi (Olesya Rulin), which must mean she plays a bigger role in the movie.

A quick check of the soundtrack listing confirms that as Kelsi is shown to sing a duet with—you guessed it—Ryan.

So does this mean a romance for Ryan and Kelsi? Man, do I hope so. I think Ryan—and Lucas—have earned it…
