Pick of the Week: A "Traveler" Reunion
There’s A LOT of stuff on TV this week, so let me give you the rundown…
Monday, July 9th you can look back at the career of Steven Spielberg through the eyes of Steven Spielberg. “Spielberg on Spielberg” airs Monday at 9 p.m. on Turner Classic Movies. Also at 9, it’s the series premiere of “Greek,” a college comedy starring Spencer Grammer, Kelsey Grammer’s daughter. At 10 on ESPN, it’s part one of “The Bronx Is Burning,” an eight-part mini-series that details the New York Yankees 1977 pennant race…
Tuesday, July 10th, it’s the season premiere of the critically acclaimed “Eureka” at 9 p.m. on Sci Fi. At 9:30, it’s the series premiere of “The Singing Bee,” a game show hosted by Joey Fatone that challenges contestants to remember song lyrics (NBC). Tuesday also marks the return to TV of the beloved “Tru Calling.” Sci Fi begins airing the show’s two seasons Tuesday at 7 p.m…
Wednesday, July 11th, it’s FOX’s turn to let people forget song lyrics. “Don’t Forget the Lyrics,” hosted by Wayne Brady, premieres Wednesday at 9:30 p.m…
Friday, July 13th at 9 p.m. on USA, it’s the season premiere of “Monk” with guest star Sarah Silverman…Sunday, July 15th, VH1 and Lifetime break out their new lineups. VH1 premieres its newest dating show, “Rock of Love,” starring Poison’s Bret Michaels (9:30 p.m.). Then at 10:30, it’s the premiere of “Scott Baio Is 45…and Single,” which follows Baio as he makes amends with his former girlfriends, including Erin Moran, who played Joanie on “Happy Days.” Lifetime has two premieres: “Side Order of Life” starring Marisa Coughlin as a photographer who starts doubting her perfect life with her fiancé (Jason Priestley)
when her best friend is diagnosed with cancer (8 p.m.) and “State of Mind” starring Lili Taylor as a psychiatrist whose life falls apart when she catches her husband cheating on her (9 p.m.)…
But even with all of that to choose from, my Pick of the Week is “Traveler.” This next-to-last episode features the reunion of Jay and Kim and secrets about the FBI get exposed. “Traveler” airs Wednesday, July 11th at 10 p.m. on ABC…
