I am not happy...
Those of you who are regular readers of this blog know that I’m a big fan of “Football Night In America,” NBC’s NFL pre-game show.
The foursome of Bob Costas, Cris Collinsworth, Jerome Bettis and Sterling Sharpe had the best chemistry of any show on TV—even with Sharpe yelling at us most of the time. And when it was announced that Tiki Barber was replacing Sharpe, I figured the show would be better than ever.
Unfortunately, I was wrong…
This week, NBC named Keith Olbermann co-host of “America.” This is, no doubt, one of the incentives that kept Olbermann as the host of “Countdown” on MSNBC.
But the problem is that “America” already had a co-host—Cris Collinsworth. And according to statements from NBC, he will remain in that role, which means there are a few too many cooks in the kitchen.
Is this how NBC is rewarding Cris for his Emmy nod?
And I can’t believe Bob Costas could be too thrilled about this development…
I know I’m not…
