TMZ.com is reporting that Katie Couric is about to sign a deal with ABC for a new daytime talk show that would begin in September 2012. AND to make room for her, the network might cancel its last remaining soap opera, “General Hospital.”

Who wants another talk show and cooking show? I don't know where the CEO gets that everyone wants another talk show. I know this will keep my tv off.
