Kiefer Returns to TV, But...

I should be jumping for joy. Kiefer Sutherland is possibly coming back to television. But the project—and the person behind it—is leaving me less than thrilled…

“The Hollywood Reporter” reported this week that Kiefer has signed to star in the FOX drama pilot, “Touch.” Kiefer plays a father who discovers his autistic, mute son can predict events before they happen.

The show comes from Tim Kring, who you may remember was the creator of a little show called “Heroes,” which completely broke my heart. So yeah. I’m a little worried.

Kiefer is currently on Broadway in “That Championship Season,” so production probably won’t start until late May. That means if “Touch” is picked up—which it likely will be—we won’t see it until mid-season.
