Pick of the Week: An Abundance of TV Riches

It was pretty tough making this week’s Pick. Not because there wasn’t anything to choose from, but because there was too much to choose from. An abundance of TV riches, if you will...

There’s the return of two of my favorites—“24” and “American Idol”—the season finale of another favorite—“Tabatha’s Salon Takeover”—and the return of “Leverage.”

But when you pack a guest appearance by Rachel Bilson, a musical number featuring Neil Patrick Harris, a cameo by Tim Gunn AND the appearance of the mysterious title character all in one episode, how can I possibly pick against that?

My Pick of the Week is “How I Met Your Mother.”

Yes, ladies and gentlemen, all of those things will be packed into the 100th episode of “HIMYM” as Barney (NPH) struggles with choosing between a girl and his suits. Meanwhile, Ted (Josh Radnor) gets one step closer to meeting the mother—for real this time, kids.
