Let's take a look at the Emmy nominees in the major Supporting categories...

Supporting Actor in a Comedy:
Kevin Dillon, "Entourage"
Jeremy Piven, "Entourage"
Neil Patrick Harris, "How I Met Your Mother"
Rainn Wilson, "The Office"
Jon Cryer, "Two and a Half Men"

I am SO happy for Kevin Dillon, who has truly become the heart of that show. And Neil Patrick Harris is so deserving, but it would have been nice to see the "Scrubs" supporting cast finally get some Emmy love...

Supporting Actress in a Comedy:
Jaime Pressly, "My Name Is Earl"
Jenna Fischer, "The Office"
Holland Taylor, "Two and a Half Men"
Conchata Ferrell, "Two and a Half Men"
Vanessa Williams, "Ugly Betty"
Elizabeth Perkins, "Weeds"

I don't know what it is about Conchata Ferrell that makes the Emmys love her so much. And yes, I know she's from West Virginia, but I also know she badmouthed West Virginia when she was on "LA Law," so there...

Supporting Actor in a Drama:
William Shatner, "Boston Legal"
T.R. Knight, "Grey's Anatomy"
Masi Oka, "Heroes"
Michael Emerson, "Lost"
Terry O'Quinn, "Lost"
Michael Imperioli, "The Sopranos"

Kudos to the voters for recognizing both Emerson and O'Quinn; but I really wish they would've gone with Jack Coleman instead of Masi Oka for "Heroes." And T.R. Knight? Yeah, that one's not going to create any controversy--especially since Isaiah Washington withdrew his name from consideration...

Interesting that voters nominated every major female cast member of "Grey's Anatomy" except Ellen Pompeo (Meredith)...
