Pick of the Week: Another "Friend" Gets "Dirt"y
When two stars of my favorite show of all-time reunite, it’s got to be my Pick of the Week, even if it isn’t a very good show…
As you’ve no doubt heard a million times by now, Jennifer Aniston guest stars this week on the season finale of “Dirt,” reuniting her with Courteney Cox. Aniston plays Tina, a rival tabloid editor to Cox’s Lucy.
To add spice to this story, Tina is a lesbian and she shares a kiss with Lucy. Cox has done everything she can to say the kiss is no big deal, but since this is FX, I’m not buying it.
Aniston asked Cox (who is an Executive Producer with her husband, David) if she could be on the show because it looked like they were having so much fun. But interestingly, “Dirt” was not the first show Aniston asked to be a part of. She inquired with producers of another TV drama about making an appearance, but the producers turned her down.
Who would turn down Jennifer Aniston for a guest spot? Guesses?...
The season finale of “Dirt” airs Tuesday, March 27th at 10 p.m. on FX…
And I’ll have the answer to that question for you on Tuesday night, so Stay Tuned…
