Order Up!
A few more shows have received full season orders from their networks…
FOX has given full orders to “’Til Death” and “Standoff." The order for “Standoff,” however, was for six additional episodes instead of the usual nine since after January, FOX will have less room on its schedule. There’s no word on where “Standoff” will move to after “American Idol” returns. I would’ve guessed Monday at 8 to fill the slot until “Prison Break” returns, but there’s a possibility “Break” could return in January, if the show can get ahead on its production schedule…
CBS is talks now to order additional episodes of “The Class.” There’s a good chance it won’t be the full nine since the network is so high on its midseason comedy, “Rules of Engagement” starting David Spade and Patrick Warburton…
I have still not heard anything about the future of “Help Me Help You” or “The Nine.” I’m guessing that ABC is giving things another week before making a decision…
The CW has ordered seven more episodes of “Veronica Mars,” bringing the total for the season to 20. Since the writers planned the season over 22 episodes, some changes in story are currently being made…
In other order news, ABC has ordered another season of “The Bachelor.” The network was encouraged enough by this season’s numbers to ask for another round, which could air as early as spring.
